Providing rapid tick bite and early Lyme disease assessment and treatment
Tick Bite Telehealth provides focused online care for recent tick bites, Lyme disease prevention, early Lyme disease, alpha-gal concerns, tick-borne and vector-borne infections, and testing consultations.
As concerns about Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses continue to grow, many patients struggle to find timely, knowledgeable care. Some are told to “wait and see” despite a known tick bite, an expanding rash, new symptoms, or concerns about prevention and early treatment. Tick Bite Telehealth was created to help bridge that gap by providing prompt evaluation, prevention guidance, testing strategy, and treatment planning when clinically appropriate.
Care is provided by Dr. Jade Stefano. Dr. Stefano is an ILADS-trained naturopathic physician and current member of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS). Evaluation and treatment decisions are individualized based on each patient’s history and symptoms. Care is guided by a shared decision-making approach that considers available evidence, clinical judgment, patient preferences, and individual goals.
Visits may include tick-bite risk assessment, rash and photo review, symptom evaluation, testing guidance, prevention planning, and treatment when clinically appropriate. Testing and treatment recommendations are made on a case-by-case basis and may incorporate ILADS-informed care, current research, clinical judgment, and patient-specific factors.
Dr. Stefano’s broader clinical work includes tick-borne and vector-borne diseases, infection-associated chronic illness, dysautonomia/POTS, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), Long COVID, cardio-metabolic health and related complex chronic conditions.
Her interest in tick-borne disease grew after discovering that multiple members of her immediate family, as well as many of her chronically ill patients, were affected by these infections. This experience led her to pursue advanced training in tick-borne illness evaluation and treatment, including completion of the ILADS Physician Training Program and additional education from leading clinicians in the field.
For more complex or chronic cases, patients may be referred for comprehensive care through DoctorJade.com or to another appropriate specialist.
Tick Bite Telehealth is available only to patients who are physically located in states where our providers are licensed to provide telehealth services.
